Tooth Whitening
Our offices provide custom made bleaching trays for convenience at home use. A special whitening gel is placed in the trays, and they are worn from two to four hours (for 10-14 days) to lighten stained or discolored teeth. The trays offer a stronger and more accurate treatment than conventional over the counter products.

Bonding
Bonding is an in-office procedure that can improve the appearance of the teeth and restore function. Bonding can be used to repair fractured, chipped, and broken teeth, to close small spaces between teeth, or to reshape teeth. A tooth-colored resin material is directly applied ('bonded') to the tooth. This same procedure is used for "white fillings." Bonding usually requires one visit.

Veneers

Porcelain veneers can greatly enhance the appearance of a smile. Veneers allow us to change the shape, color, and contours of teeth. In cases of minor tooth misalignment, veneers can be used to create the appearance of straight teeth. Veneers usually require minimal reduction of the tooth surface, and they are fabricated by a dental laboratory. A veneer is actually a thin facing of porcelain that is bonded to the surface of a prepared tooth. Porcelain veneers are a wonderful option for creating a very esthetic, beautiful smile.

Crowns
A crown can be all-ceramic (metal-free), porcelain and metal, or all-metal (gold crown,) and your dentist will help you decide which crown is appropriate for your particular needs. A crown covers the entire tooth visible over the gum line, enclosing the damaged tooth completely. This is different than a filling, which is essentially placed "in" a portion of the tooth. A crown is used to restore a tooth to its original shape, reinforce and strengthen a tooth, or to improve its appearance.

Periodontal Plastic Surgery
This procedure includes reshaping the gum line to enhance the appearance of the teeth. When appropriate, the gum line is altered to reveal more tooth structure to create a brighter smile. In other cases, gums and the underlying bone are shaped to cover indentations caused by missing teeth. For receding gums, the exposed tooth root is covered with grafted gum tissue to prevent tooth sensitivity and decay as well as improve appearance.

Smile Analysis (Root and Gum Coverage)
Smile is not just a matter of pearly white teeth. It is also shaped by the gums of the mouth and can be affected by receding gums, exposed roots or gums which cover too much of the teeth and give a “gummy smile”. By examining the factors that create your smile, the trained professional can take these and other factors into consideration and prescribe a course of treatment that will be best for your smile and oral health.
